The college has been offering B.Ed. degree course on self financing mode from March – 2006. At present it is functioning with 1 unit of B.Ed. having 100 student teachers. Our human resources are also worth mentioning as 12 Faculty members staff in the B.Ed. of 9 Departments like Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics, Chemistry), Biological Science (Botany, Zoology), History, Commerce, Computer Science and Economics for full time and one Part-Time Music Teacher
Ponmari College of Education is run by Golden Trust, Thirukkokarnam, Pudukkottai – 622 002, under the Leadership of Dr. S. RAMDOS, M.B.B.S., D.C.H., the Chariman of Ponmari Educational Institutions.
